 The old LBSCR station with a steam engine on the down line.
The station was closed shortly after this photo was taken in 1928 and all rail traffic transferred to the LSWR station which is on the current station site. As result of this change Station Road was renamed Upper High Street - to avoid obvious confusion. |

This was the LSWR station as Epsom also had the LBSCR station which was located in what is now Upper High Street. This closed in 1929. |
