In 1928 this building was in fact the Cotswold Garage and was entered from Ashcroft Road. It became the Mycalex Company in 1940 when they were subject to Air raids at the start of the blitz when located in London.The hanger type building is almost certainly built after the 1st World War from dismantled hangers removed from Rendcombe Airfield as is the building adjacent that was also a garage called Bridges and that was entered from Castle Street.
