Wisbech Work House later the Clarkson Hospital (details of this establishment are documented at Southwell Workhouse in Nottinghamshire. www.nationaltrust.org.uk/workhouse-southwell) there is a photograph at the Southwell Workhouse of the Wisbech workhouse. In the 1940's 50's many feared having to go into the Clarkson Hospital because of its former use as a work house sadly not helped because of its dedict use for geriatrics. |
