I was working for United Automobile Services Ltd. from 1974 until 1980 during which time I was taught bus driving and made the occasional service journey when we were short staffed. I remember operating a full single deck Bristol LH from Darlington to Barnard Castle and return which would have terminated at Galgate. Happy days. |
