I think this was the last resting place of much of London's fleet of trolleybuses.

Your absolutely right John. 2nd Jan 1962 was the last day of operation for trollybuses on the Edgware/Willesden routes and then they were sent to the Colindale depot to be scrapped en mass. I can remember a few weeks later the strange sensation of seeing clear sky above where once there had been a spiders web of trolly wires.
