The Dylon Factory, This is earmarked to be destroyed but was still standing in 2013 complete with 1950's esq signage. English Heritage were approached to save it but they weren't interested. |

This area was used by the Science Museum as an overflow store complete with a V2 rocket stored outside near the boiler hose. |

I remember the V2 rocket very well... It was parked just out of shot to the right of the Boiler House. Sadly it was allowed to just rust away. |

Hello Billybuttons, My Dad was the Boiler House stoker up until the seventies when they switched to Oil. He looked after those too until he retired. |
