Just to the left was the old school that they used for the TV series WATERLOO ROAD which was sited on the Kirkholt estate. |

Balderstone Mill was called Samuel Hills and part of the Oswald & Duncan Ltd group (cotton industry) up until the 1990's. It's all been knocked down now. |
