Euston Square & Gardens. The memorial to the Great War can be seen on the road junction with Euston Grove and a little to the south are the east and west lodges. The latter date from the 1870s and are inscribed with names of stations served by the London and North Western Railway. They were once located further north at the original entrance to Euston station.

Good view of the front of Paramount Court in 1946. Behind it is the Paramount Cinema (opened on 10 February 1936, became the Odeon in November 1946, closed on 5 March 1960).
