Towards the bottom right corner is Blackweir on the River Taff. Towards the top right hand edge is Maindy Gravel pit (it looks flooded) now Maindy Leisure Centre with cycle track and pool. Just above this is Maindy Barracks. The large white strip to the left of the barracks is now Crown Way. The main road going across the middle of the photo is now North Road |

Sorry the white strip going up the side of the barracks is New Zealand Road. Companies House and Crown Way must have been built on part of the land belongong to the barracks |

Yes it is New Zealand Road, St Josephs school (as it once was called) and church have yet to be built. |
