Chariot Street, this end was swept away by the building of "Queen's House". A portion of it remains at the end of the City Hall.

"Queen's House" was very slow in it's building caused mainly by the difficulties in buying still standing properties and clearing the site. It now extends down to this junction of Paragon Street and Chapel Street.
