Turning circle at Liverpool Street Trolleybus terminus. Served by three routes 557 - Chingford Mount, 649 - Waltham Cross, and 649A -Wood Green (Sundays only). Trolleybuses commenced running here from February 1939 (649), joined in June 1939 by the 557, and continued to do so untill 18 July 1961. The original turning circle was reputed as being the tightest on the London system. |
