Ollerton Colliery signalbox. Opened 1927 The final train to pass a working Ollerton Colliery box was on Tuesday 28th October 2003, hauled by 66086 as 7Z88 11:18 High Marnham to Ratcliffe Power station, the driver handing the train staff over for the final time to signaller Clive Goodwin at Ollerton Colliery Box. On 15th & 16th April 2006 the heavily vandalised box was set on fire and the operating floor badly damaged. The box was boarded up, but on the night of 22nd January 2007 Firefighters spent more than 90 minutes tackling a blaze when it was again set on fire, this time being totally gutted beyond recognition.
