Pinnau
 A further screen wall was added on the west side to create a courtyard with tables and the central window on the old wall made into doors so people could come in straight off the street to enjoy a drink. There was also a clock golf and small putting green provided. The building beyond the courtyard was the bar and also used as a ballroom. |

| Domes made from copper and made by RH mickleborough plumber and engineer the sign "GRAND HOTEL"affixed on the south side was also made by him. |
