The Great Central, then LNER line, from the north to Marylebone. This section remains open for rubbish trains and joins the former Oxford-Beltchley-Bedford-Cambridge line a short distance northwards, closed some time ago, but to be revitalised as a useful East-West link.

Hoffman type kiln. As far as I can see, all of the kilns on this picture are Hoffmans.
