This reply actually relates to an adjacent location, the possible engine shed but the link to the reply box for this was broken. There was a 2 road LSWR then SR shed here from 20 Jan 1857 until Jan 1939. It was adjacent to Ranelagh Rd at it its junction with Brownlow st. The bricked up access in the station wall from the shed & the former town signal box to Ranelagh Rd & the Brownlow Tavern can still be seen. Post code DT4 7JF. |
