Holywell Stone Mill; built late 19th century. Later used as a builders supply shop, as well as accommodating various clubs in the upper stories. Due to be demolished by housing developers, it was instead completely destroyed in an arson attack on 13th February 2018. In a few years, there will be houses on the site.

Unfortunately, the hotel closed in February 2018, and its future is quite uncertain. The owners have submitted plans for a major residential project, including apartments being built on the hotel site, as well as building five houses on the Bath Grounds playing field. With this, they promised that they would also restore the hotel (as apartments). However, the genuineness of this promise is revealed to be questionable, and the prospect of building on the highly cherished Bath Grounds has been slammed by the local community.

The condition of the hotel has been deteriorating in recent years, and recent break-ins have worsened the situation. All windows and doors are boarded with metal sheeting, and construction fences block access to the front portico. The roof is in a particularly poor condition, showing signs of leaks.
