Site of first terminus station for the Withernsea trains.

This curve allowed the first Hull to Withernsea railway company trains to reach their terminus station at Drypool. Later when the North Eastern railway bought that company, they built the connection above to their Southcoates station and on around the city to reach the present Paragon station.
