This bungalow belonged to my grandparents until the late 1960s. Many happy memories of holidays here when we visited in the 50s, sailing with my father on the lake. Strange how it never seemed to rain then! Now demolished, along with what was then an 9 hole golf course, to make way for an hotel. |

This contributor spent Thursday, May 3, 2007, walking around this delightful town and environs, having travelled out from his hotel in Douglas on the Manx Electric Railway. Armed with information leaflets on urban trails in and around Ramsey, he duly completed tours of the town centre, Mooragh Park, North & South Ramsey, before heading inland for the Ballure Nature Trail. |
