The House was sold and the contents dispersed in 1951. It was bought by the Catholic Church and for 23 years it was a convent school with boarders, later St. Joseph's Roman Catholic comprehensive school. |

The buildings in this photo make up Tredegar House, the home of the former Lords Tredegar. The House is now looked after by the National Trust and is well worth a visit. |
