 This is the former Parc-Gwyllt County Mental Hospital viewed from the south west. It is now demolished and replaced by HM Prison Parc. The M4 passes just north of the site. |

I recognise this building. It was Park (later Parc) hospital abut three miles north of Bridgend, and was a secure Mental Hospital. In the 1980's it was closed as a hospital but is now the site of Parc Prison - from what you can see from the road it appears to use many of the old buildings of the hospital but with some modern blocks as well. Never went in there though ! |

This was the old Parc Gwyllt asylum, now the site of Parc Prison, the old building was demolished. |
