Burntisland Shipyard, foreground, was established in 1918 and closed circa 1968. Vessels launched from the yard in the autumn of 1929 were: - SS Brynmor, yard no 156; SS Zouave, no 158; SS Skeldergate, no 159. The SS Eskdalegate was launched in March 1930. These are very possibly the ships under construction in this shot
