Built for the LMS North London Line between Richmond and Broad Street, and Euston to Watford. Like the underground these lines were electrified on the 4th rail system at 630 volts dc. Known as Oerlikon sets because of the Swiss built electrical equipment they carried. These trains seated 33 first and 130 third class passengers. |
