Junction of the old Great North Road (which passed through Lemsford) and the new route. The old road is now closed between here and Lemsford, and the site of the junction is now covered by the A1(M) motorway. |

Ayot Station on the (now closed) Hatfield to Dunstable line of the Great Northern Railway. Opened in 1877, it was destroyed by fire on 26th July 1948 and never reopened. Goods facilities closed in 1963. The site is now part of the Ayot greenway route. |
