The gas works were between the current Springhill Road and Pool Hill (Roughly here: http://www.flashearth.com/?lat=52.660832&lon=-2.470729&z=18&r=0&src=msl) The U-Shaped building by the Malthouse (the long building above the works) is still there, as are the 3 1930's buildings near it. |
