Former route of the railway from Nunhead to Greenwich Park station. This opened in 1888 and closed in 1917 as a WW1 economy measure - most passengers had changed over to local tram services. In 1929 the Southern Railway diverted the line into Lewisham, and it has remained open ever since. |

Parks Bridge Junction - the railway flyover here was the scene of a disastrous collision in thick fog on 4th Dec 1957 in which 90 people were killed.
