So this photo can't have been taken in 1938 then? I went there between 1965 and 1968, then on to the Juniors between 1968 and 1972. |

Good spot! I wonder if I've identified the school site wrongly. I got the build year from the school website. I'm sure the photo date will be correct. I went to Springwell too. Started at the infants in 1973, left the juniors in 1980. |

| Shops on Great West Road. We used to refer to this as 'The Front' for some unknown reason. The shops carried on round into Vicarage Farm Road. For our main shop, we used to go over to the bigger shops around Hounslow West station, known as 'going over The West'. |
