At least seven double-decker trams can be clearly seen on the pic, compared with one double deck motor bus. When it came to mass urban transit in those days the tram was still streets ahead!



The clean art deco lines of the recently opened Queen's Hotel are in stark contrast to the smokey, grimey and sooty City Station behind. A great pic.
