This rather curious hangar like industrial building appears still to exist (since extended to the rear) within the Kelvin Industrial Estate in Long Drive. During WW2 there was a large army ordnance depot based here with an annexe on the Northolt Racecourse.

This is a siding that ran from the GWR mainline to the Aladdin factory. It was probably used to transport materials during the construction of the factory and later to service goods traffic to and from the factory and the other industrial premises that would soon be constructed alongside Long Drive. Short sections of the track still remain within the Long Drive part of the site in the Kelvin Industrial Estate.
