Hi Dylan,

It's great to have your annotations to this photo. The works at Billingham are so extensive and complex, your pins really help. Would you be interested to write something that explains the works and its processes in the wiki section?

Yours, Katy

A whole bunch of photographs were taken of the site around the time of the start-up of the anhydrite process cement kilns. Unfortunately none is of great quality, but this one is sufficiently close and clear to made out a myriad of interesting details. I have a plan of the 1930 acid plant, which allows me to identify features fairly well. For history, etc, see [[http://www.cementkilns.co.uk/cement_kiln_billingham.html]].
