Stones Bros, Crown Bakery, Friars' Street - Bakery plus shop and domestic dwelling. Supplied bread, pies, confectionery etc. to local shops, pubs, clubs and private houses. Also supplied produce to many of the North Staffs colliery canteens. Business closed Christmas eve 1964 due to A34 dual carriageway being built.
