The building to the rear right beside the kitchen gardens is Ilkley's first College of Education C1869. Now redeveloped as appartments. To the left of this is Ilkley's second Parish Church - St Margarets - architect was Norman Shaw. To the left of this is St John's House/appartments also by Norman Shaw. the small building on the Moor, bottom left, was built in 1852/3 as a reservoir. Originally open to the sky. It has been redeveloped as a residential property. The area of rough parkland across the road from the latter was reclaimed in the late 1990s to become Ilkley's Millennium Green - Darwin Gardens.
