Production at this Jowett works was from 1920-1940. After the war the Jowett Jupiter sports car was built here; the Jowett Javelin body was outsourced to a firm in Doncaster. Jowett ceased production in 1954-55. [Source: Wikipedia]

What look like tram tracks are the overhaead cable for the Trackless Trams (commonly known as Trolley Buses). I travelled on this route (still trolly buses) to school from Sep 1958 until April 1965

I must differ on this. In 1934 Bradford Road still had twin tram tracks - source: Ordnance Survey map 1:2,500 edition.

Although this junction has six roads, it is called 'Five Lane Ends'. The alignment is slightly different, as the junction now has a roundabout.
