I believe that the building is in fact Llandaff House, (since demolished) and that The Hand & Spear is just out of shot to the right of the picture. Looking at modern photo's of The Hand & Spear show distinct differences to the building captioned. |

The Southern Railway's - ex-London & South Western Railway's - main line to Salisbury and Exeter, looking south west, with an express overtaking a train just leaving the station and a third train in what may be a bay platform, with a local passenger for Chertsey, Sunningdale and Ascot - perhaps |
