MB can I ask about Spout Lane Cottages that you have pinned please. I checked the census for Upton in the 1870's 1880's, 1890's and Spout Lane Cottages appear to follow Upton Hall Farm, on one of these photographs there are cottages below the now Youth Centre and to the bottom right of Upton Hall Farm, I wandered if they were Spout Lane Cottages as they are nearer to the spout hole to the rear of Upton Hall Farm? |
