1970's Mr and Mrs Shakespeare used to have a small holding here with pig pens and farrowing stalls. |

Stable block that belonged to Upton Hall, the part facing the road is still standing and is now Upton Young People's Centre, it has been a youth club and centre from the 1950's. |

Upton Old Hall, this was pulled down between this date and the 1950's. I cannot be more accurate. This is the first photograph I have ever seen of the hall, records about it have been sparse. There is a natural spring that fed the hall with fresh water which is now feeding the fishing lake that has since been created. |
