Charging Sheds. There are 14 charging sheds broken into two groups. Starting from the southwest the first group has 8 sheds, there is then a 51.816m break, followed by 6 sheds in the second group. The first two sheds in the first group are not connected directly to the receiving sheds (empty shell store) by cleanways. The fifth shed in this group differs from its neighbours by having a small brick built projection with a sloping roof on the eastern end of the building. The dimensions of each shed is approximately 21.336m x 10.668m. Construction is of brick and timber. The roof type is Belfast Truss with a roof monitor which has a glazed top / roof light and ventilation louvers set into its side. The roof is covered with bituminous felt. Each shed has 10 double leaf doors set along its side walls, "5 double doors each side". Between the doors are windows. At each end of the shed are material handling doors, these doors are offset. In the end wall there is a window and a square opening in the centre of the building just below the roofline. The various buildings are connected by 3.048m wide cleanways. Spacing between each charging shed is approximately 9.144m. There are 4 buildings in the break between the two groups of charging sheds. Adjacent to the row of 8 sheds is a small building. On the opposite of the break next to the remaining 6 charging sheds is another. Near this is a building with two bays approximately 6.400m x 5.791m. The final building within this group measures approximately 12.801m x 5.486m, its height appears greater than that of the charging sheds. The roof type is Belfast Truss with glazed monitor and ventilation louvers.
