Is this the old Kavanagh's boot factory on Magdalen Street?

Victorian houses on north side of Priory Street; once a notorious neighbourhood (along with Vineyard Street) - later demolished, now Priory Street car park.

Big factory - I think this was a boot or clothes factory (Hyam & Hyams?). It was destroyed by the Lutwaffe in WWII. The site is now the Gala Bingo/NCP Car Park.

This building still exists today as part of a Bus depot - it's in a sorry state now.

St Boltolph's Station was re-named Colchester Town Station in July 1991. It is still in use with trains to Frinton and Walton-on-the-Naze, but also to London via the main line station
