These are not Nieuports. They are a flight of Sopwith Snipes; a fighter plane which saw brief active service at the end of the war and which continued in use by the RAF until 1926 |

These are Sopwith Snipes probably the five from the CFS who gave a display that day. Are the serial numbers readable on the original? - as this would help confirm which unit they came from. |
