In the top third of the picture I found myself looking for the landmarks (e.g. windsock) of an airfield, but couldn't spot any. There appear to be two natural runways. The picture taken from south / south-west. |

I've looked (courtesy of Google) at site nowadays. It would still make a reasonable airfield, but would probably be opposed by locals (too close to Heathrow anyway). |
