We are at a session at the Wiltshire and Swindon History Centre and are not entirely sure whether this is the first Fison factory - can anybody help?

Yes it is. There is an up-to-date and comprehensive history of the site and buildings currently available as part of a planning application. Google Mid Suffolk District Council 2700/12 and look for the Heritage Statement.

Sorry I missed your visit today. I didn't see it in the newsletter despite scouring it. I had been looking forward to it.
