 I love this photograph of The Circus in Bath taken in 1920, fast forward to July 2007 and you would find me standing almost directly beneath the flight path of the Aerofilms crew, making my own shot of The Circus for a little project called "Bath in Miniature" using the now ubiquitous Tilt-Shit Dioarama effect. Little did I know at the time, that in June 2011 I would find myself working on this image for the Britain from above project, What a happy coincidence! Although some of the buildings behind the Circus were bombed during the war and sadly St Andrews Church was destroyed, very little has changed! |
