It's the Fleet Air Arm. The Royal Naval Air Service combined with the Royal Flying Corps on 1st April, 1918 to form the Royal Air Force. As to what the Firefly pilot was up to, we shall never know. RMS "Orion" P & O liner, built 1934 for the Australia service. Served as a troopship 1940 - 1946. Continued in service until 1963 (last voyage 28/2 - 15/5).
