The Darley Street entrance to Kirkgate Market and Coronation bunting visible through the gap of the demolished Savoy Cinema which was replaced by the, much larger, former Ritz/ABC on Broadway.
The Savoy was demolished before WW2 with plans for an M&S store, but those plans were thwarted by the war and the shortages in the years after the war. |
