This short branch railway was never a commercial success and closed to passengers in 1917. A goods only service survived until 1965 after which the line was closed and removed. |

Spur line providing District Line shuttle service between Acton Town and South Acton. A specially adapted double-ended Q Stock car can be seen by the spur platform at South Acton.
The service was withdrawn in Feb 1959 and the spur and bridge over Bollo Lane dismantled. |
