These huts - which I presume were left over from the war - formed part of Slough Grammar School and were used by the first and second years.

Local pilot 0-6-0T "Pannier" loco propelling a shunters wagon. These lengthed the profile of the loco whilst it crossed a diamond crossing and held up the track circuits. The centre of these crossings, the actual "diamond" was not wired and it was possible to allow the track circuit to register "unoccupied", track clear with possible disastrous results.
