W.E & J Rigden Ltd, Court Street, Faversham. The brewery was founded by Edward Rigden during the early 18th century. Merged with George Beer of Canterbury in 1922 forming George Beer and Rigden Limited.Taken over by Fremlins of Maidstone in 1954 and closed in 1990. The brewery has been converted into a supermaket and flats. |
