Here is Wood st. A Railway ran along it from Ashburys sidings, into the English Steel works to the right. look at the large amount of track when rail was very necessary to big industry. By Barney Rubble. |

The location of the level crossing over Clayton Lane, between ESC and Clayton Aniline. Not sure if it was ever used as such, but it was theoretically possible to leave Ashburys sidings, and get to Baguley Fold sidings this way.By Barney Rubble. |
