Recorded position of the 2ndWW HAA Gun Battery at Avonmouth, designation B 9/- (GDA Bristol). Surprisingly there appears to be no trace of the gun pits or building locations.

Course of the former rail line to Portbury Shipyard (National Shipyard No.3). Construction of the shipyard started in 1917 but was never completed and abandoned after the end of WW1. There is little online information about this short-lived project and physical evidence has been obliterated as Portbury Dock developed.
