Seacombe and Egremont railway station, the terminus of the Seacombe branch of the Wirral Railway, closed in 1963. Soon afterwards, in the late 1960s, the railway cutting was repurposed into the approach road for the Kingsway (Wallasey) road tunnel. |

This piece of wall is all that remains of the road across the railway. The embankment was filled in after closure and housing was constructed soon after. This wall is at the rear of the Home Bargains store car park in Church Road. |
