The Penny Bridge

Albert Memorial Industrial School, opened March 1899, closed April 1924, on Corporation Road.

Severn Street. One of the streets on the now-demolished River Streets estate. This picture is provided by Flickr user Terry Dooley.

Charlie Wright's house. He's lived there all of his life, and the house still stands today among the newly-built houses on Keepmoat's Docklands development. He refused to get his house demolished, as part of the River Streets' demolition.

Tees Street. This street was the topic of a 1985 TV Eye episode, 'Tees Street Isn't Working'. 38 people were unemployed, but only 2 people were employed.

After the school was demolished, the new Park Primary was built backing on to Central Park. The site of the former school became a small housing plot. With a mixture of family houses, bungalows and small complex of 12 flats opened in October 2014
